How your TCI Express shipment reaches you

1. 1

   Booking and pickup

   You book your parcel and TCI Express creates a docket or AWB number for it, and that single number stays with your shipment the whole way.

2. 2

   Scanned into the network

   Once it is picked up, your parcel gets its first scan, so the system now knows it exists, where it started, and the trip is officially under way.

3. 3

   Sorted at origin hub

   At the starting hub your parcel is grouped with others going the same way and sorted by destination, so it ends up on the right route to your city.

4. 4

   Carried between hubs

   Now your parcel moves by road or air from one city hub to the next, and each scan along the way feeds your TCI Express courier tracking so you can follow it.

5. 5

   Reaches nearest hub

   When your shipment lands at the hub closest to your address, it is sorted for local delivery and loaded onto a van that is heading your way.

6. 6

   Out for delivery

   The delivery person brings it to your door and hands it over, the status turns to delivered, and the trip that began at booking is done.

Booked

Your shipment is now in the TCI Express system with a docket number, which is what you use for TCI Express courier tracking from this point on.

Picked Up

The parcel has been collected from the sender and is now inside the TCI Express network, ready to start its trip to you.

In Transit

Your shipment is moving between cities or branches right now, so just wait while it makes its way across to your area.

Received at Facility

The parcel has reached a TCI Express hub close to where it is going and is being sorted for the last stretch of the trip.

Out for Delivery

Your shipment has left the local branch with a delivery agent and is expected to reach your address today.

Delivered

The parcel has been handed over at the address, so the job is done. Have a quick look and check everything is fine.

Returned to Origin (RTO)

Delivery didn't work out, maybe after a few tries or because of an address issue, so the parcel is being sent back to the sender.

TCI Express delivery time estimates

TCI Express moves parcels and documents across India by road and air, so how long a shipment takes mostly comes down to the route and the service you book. The day ranges below are typical, not promises.

These are estimates and can change with the service you pick, the actual distance, and heavy festival or holiday loads. For a firm timeline on your route, ask the booking branch.

What affects TCI Express charges?

TCI Express does not charge one fixed amount for every shipment, so you will not find a single price here. Get your item weighed and measured, then ask your nearest TCI Express branch for a quote before you book. If you are checking a parcel you have already sent, TCI Express courier tracking will show its progress, but not the rate you paid.

Rates differ from branch to branch and change over time. This is a guide to what affects the price, not an official TCI Express price list, so confirm the current charge at the counter before booking.

Common tracking problems

Number not working just after booking

Give it some time. A consignment number usually goes live once the goods are picked up and entered at the branch, not the second the slip is printed. Still blank the next day? Ring the booking branch.

Number not recognised at all

Type it again, slowly, exactly as printed on the lorry receipt. It's easy to mix up 0 and O, or 1 and I. And check you're not punching in an order or invoice number from the sender by mistake.

Status stuck on the same line for days

On long road routes, goods can sit between branches for a day or two, more so over weekends. That's normal for surface transport. But if nothing has moved for several days, call the booking branch with your number and ask where it is.

Goods reached the branch but not delivered

Sometimes the lot waits at the destination branch for you to collect it, or because the address or phone number was incomplete. Check your TCI Express courier tracking status, then phone that branch to ask: are they delivering, or holding it for you?

Shows delivered but nothing arrived

First, ask around the address. A neighbour, the watchman, the shop next door. Someone may have signed for it. If nobody has it, call the destination branch with your consignment number and the receipt and ask who took it.

Part of the load is missing or damaged

If only some cartons turned up, or a box looks opened or crushed, don't sign it off as fine. Note it down right then, take photos, hang on to the lorry receipt, and report it to the branch and customer care straight away.
