   Booking and pickup

   You drop the parcel at a Professional Couriers branch, or someone comes to collect it, and the staff book it and give you a consignment number that stays with it the whole way.

   Your parcel gets its first scan at the booking branch, and that is the very first line you will see when you check the status, so you know it has properly entered the system.

   Sorted at the origin hub

   Back at the branch your parcel is put together with others going the same direction, then bagged up and loaded onto whichever vehicle is heading your way, by road or by air.

   Carried between cities

   Now the parcel moves from one city to the next, and the Professional Couriers courier tracking page keeps ticking over with each stop, sometimes pausing at a sorting point on longer routes.

   Out for delivery

   Once it reaches the branch nearest you, the parcel is handed to a delivery person and goes out on the day's round, slowly making its way to your door.

   Delivered to you

   The delivery person hands it over, the status flips to delivered, and you will usually see the date, the time, and the name of whoever signed for it.

Consignment Booked

Your parcel has been registered at the booking branch and given its consignment number — it is waiting to be sorted and sent onward.

Bagged / Connected

The shipment has been sorted and bagged at the origin branch and loaded for the next hub or vehicle on its route.

In Transit

Your parcel is moving through the TPC network, between branches and sorting hubs, toward the destination city. On longer routes it can sit at this stage for a day or two.

Received at Destination

The shipment has reached the TPC branch nearest the delivery address and is being lined up for the delivery run.

Out for Delivery

A TPC delivery person has your parcel on the round and should hand it over at your address the same day.

Delivered

The parcel has been handed to the recipient; the entry usually records the date, time and who received it.

Undelivered / Attempted

Delivery was tried but could not be completed — the address was incomplete or no one was available, for instance — and TPC normally re-attempts on the next working day.

Returned to Origin (RTO)

After repeated failed attempts, or a return request, the shipment is sent back to the sender.

Common tracking problems

Number not working just after booking

Give it a few hours. A new consignment only shows up once the booking branch has scanned it in. If you still see nothing the next day, ring the branch that booked it and check the docket number with them.

Number not recognised at all

Type it again slowly, no spaces. A lot of people enter the order or reference number from the seller by mistake instead of the docket number. The real docket usually starts with a three-letter city code, then some digits.

Status stuck on the same line for days

On long routes a parcel can sit in transit for a day or two, weekends especially. That is normal. But if it hasn't moved in three or four days, call the booking branch or customer care and read out your docket number.

Out for delivery but nothing came

Sometimes the round simply runs late, or an attempt was missed because nobody was home. Check the page again that evening, ask whoever else is at the address, and keep your phone close in case the delivery person calls.

Shows delivered but I have nothing

Ask around first. Family, neighbours, the watchman, the reception desk. Parcels often get left with one of them. Still no sign of it? Contact the delivery branch quickly, and hang on to your booking receipt.

Wrong address or held at a branch

If the address was short or unclear, the parcel may be sitting at the nearest branch rather than coming to your door. Professional Couriers courier tracking shows you which branch has it. Call them, give the full address, or pop in and collect it.
