How We Verify Our Data

Useful directory data is only useful if it is accurate. Here is exactly how we source, verify and keep courier office details up to date, and how we check that every listing stays correct.

Accuracy over coverage

We would rather show fewer offices with correct details than fill pages with guesses.

Transparent sourcing

Every record is traceable to an official or public source - no invented data.

Community-assisted

Reader corrections are our fastest update path - every report is read and reviewed.

Continuously updated

Scheduled reviews keep our data aligned with the couriers own published directories.

Our verification process

Six steps from raw data to a published office listing.

1

Official Sources First

Every office record on CourierInfo starts with official data - branch locators published directly by the courier company, government-registered business directories, and other authoritative public sources. We never invent details or copy from unverified third-party sites.

2

Only Real Data Gets a Page

We publish a location page only when we actually have office records for that place. You will never see an empty "no offices found" page on CourierInfo - if a page exists, it has real, sourced data behind it. This means our coverage is smaller than some sites, but what we do cover is trustworthy.

3

Every Record is Traced

Each office entry carries a reference to where it came from - which courier, which source file, and when it was last reviewed. This lets us audit quickly when something looks wrong and trace back exactly where a detail originated.

4

Reader Corrections Are Reviewed

Courier offices move, phone numbers change, and hours shift with seasons. When a reader flags something via our contact form, a team member reviews it against official sources before updating. We do not apply corrections blindly - we verify first, then update.

5

Duplicate Detection

The same office can appear under different names or spellings in raw data. We run normalisation checks - matching by address, pincode and contact number - to collapse duplicates before they reach the page. A cleaner dataset means you find the right branch faster.

6

Periodic Re-Checks

Data goes stale. We schedule periodic reviews of our source files and compare them against the latest published directories. When a courier updates its own branch locator, we pull those changes into CourierInfo so the directory stays aligned.

What we do not do

Spotted something out of date?

If you find a wrong phone number, a closed branch, or an address that has changed, please let us know. Every report is read by a team member and acted on quickly.
